• What park amenities would you like to see at Doyne Park?

With the golf course closing at Doyne Park, this is an opportunity to express what you would like to see in its stead.

Please note that due to the landfill underneath the entire park, future amenities cannot include anything that penetrates the soil.

    Dog park

We've seen that Doyne is now beautiful nature trails- I'd LOVE to see it fenced and purposed as a dog park! As some of pointed out, there's no options for dog owners in this area and there would be high interest. I'd be willing to lead a workgroup to make it happen!! (Check out how the West Allis Dog Park got started!)

    Activities that build community

-dog park: This neighborhood has a lot of dog owners that already utilize the walk path, but there are no fenced in areas. (Currently the closest dog parks are Currie in Wauwatosa and the West Allis Dog Park) -beer garden: great revenue and community builder -designated flat surface for roller skating and bike polo -bike repair station along the trail

Multi-Use Skate park/dirt bike park with a flat rink area large enough for Roller Derby to be played.

A multi use area that has a bmx/dirt bike/aggressive skating park are with a flat multi use space for Bike Polo and Roller derby.

The county should re-invest in this golf course and keep it a golf course. Many young kids learn the sport here.

The popularity of golf has exploded over the past couple of years. Many golf resorts are opening up part 3 courses as they are very desirable for all levels of golfer. To give up on this as a golf course would be a big mistake by the county.
