Project Description
This project is part of a full reconstruction of some of the County's poorest park walkway segments at West Milwaukee Park, Jacobus Park, Pulaski Park, Algonquin Park, and the East Side Bike Trail at Juneau Park.
The reconstruction project will replace the asphalt trail from the Prospect and Mason intersection to Lincoln Memorial Drive. The updated design will consider a smoother angle in design for plowing where the path meets the Oak Leaf Trail at Lincoln Memorial Drive.
Timeline
Demolition of the existing trail, asphalting, and restoration will happen from the end of October until mid-November of 2026.
