Cooper Park playground was installed in 1998 and has been a popular attraction. This has resulted in increased wear and tear and the need for a playground replacement.

The installation of a new playground has concluded. With it included ADA-accessible features, rubber surfacing, new pathways, benches, and a replaced bike rack.
