Project Description
The park road segment within Cupertino Park is considered to be an extension of nearby Lincoln Memorial Drive. The road has fallen into disrepair and was last rated a 50/100 in 2021, with conditions continuing to deteriorate. The function of this pavement as a one-way road is redundant to nearby South Shore Drive and provides the same connectivity for vehicular movement. There is ample street parking to enjoy this portion of Cupertino Park and its community gardens as well as the Oak Leaf Trail. There is also a large parking lot at South Shore Park that is directly connected to Cupertino Park. This project reduces pavement and related operational and capital investment demands. Coordination with the City of Milwaukee regarding modifications to E Russell Ave/S Lincoln Memorial Drive to accomplish full removal of the road connection and continuity of the sidewalk will be managed within the project, as will associated design elements.

80 - 100 = Excellent 70 - 80 = Very good 50 - 70 = Good 30 - 50 = Poor 10 - 20 = Very Poor 0 - 10 = Failed
