Froemming Park Pickleball Courts
Improvements are planned for the Froemming Park tennis courts, including the replacement of the concrete slab. The design and construction of a pickleball court on the same concrete footprint was completed in June 2024.
The ribbon cutting for the opening of 6 new Pickleball courts will be on July 1st, 2024 at 10 am.
The courts feature new perimeter and divisional fencing. This capital project also included Oak Leaf Trail reconstruction, tree planting in the immediate area, and new bike racks.

You may rent any or all of the six pickleball courts at Froemming Park on a first-come, first-served basis, as an individual or group. Renting a court ensures availability; however, you may use the courts at no cost if no other groups are scheduled.

Wind Screens will be up by Wednesday, May 23rd, 2026, at the latest. They came down or needed to be removed during the storms and 70mph winds, and time and staffing have not allowed Parks staff to put them back up. Two nets are unfortunately broken, and the vendor for repair is scheduled out for two weeks.

Why are there still 2 nets down and most of the wind screens down at froemming? It’s been 2-3 weeks now. It’s kind of ridiculous

Are the pickleball courts open yet? Last week the gates were padlocked.
Pickleball courts would be great. The four courts nearby are always busy.
Would love for this project to be completed for 2023 summer!
